I know lots of people who seem to function better in three-person relationships than two-person ones, even among friendships.

Sorry, but Singing in the Rain deserves to be way higher, and definitely above West Side Story. Props for giving Little Shop its due, though.

In all likelihood that's not because PCP use dropped off so much as it is because media reports of PCP use dropped off. A lot of the time an apparent increase or drop in a certain type of crime, from the public perspective, is actually just because there are more or fewer media/government reports on the activity,

Apparently "the Democrats" claim there is "nothing wrong with our border" and they do it "all the time".

I drank a lot of bourbon and managed to only get in one argument, although this did result in one of my cousins accusing me of alcoholism multiple times throughout the day.

Thanks! If I get enough well-wishes from folks over time I'm hoping it builds into a karmic force.

That sounds like heaven, but unfortunately would only be feasible if I had legitimately acquired excellent overseas employment, as I am currently doing the dance of the underemployed recent masters grad who can't find work in her field.

The good news is, my family lives in Waco, so everyone in the area is used to people with outrageous beliefs being set on fire.

I totally loved that book as a kid, and often wished that someone like Miss Honey would take pity on me as well.

I'd love to do Friendsgiving, but all my friends can at least tolerate their relatives, which is how I wind up choosing between the horror story I posted above versus sitting by myself at home with no cornbread dressing,

Damn, no. I haven't seen my cousins in a while, but none of the unmarried ones is old enough to have produced 5 children since I last saw them.

I wish. Every year I feel slightly bad about it, but I always kind of wish my friends also disliked their families, or lived too far from their relatives, so we could have an awesome Friendsgiving. But all my like-family friends have families they can tolerate.

Maybe your cousin is dating my cousin. XD

Reading indiscriminately is the next best thing to travelling to expand someone's view of the world.

I haven't seen them much except for funerals in years, but the last time I was in the house my aunt definitely found time to talk about Obama the Socialist Muslim Terrorist who will kill our economy and therefore she has an extra closet full of canned goods for when the prices of everything increase exponentially.

I did once date a black man who was Dominican, so he was not only black but spoke Spanish. I can just tell them about that as if it happened last month and not in 2008.

How about a flask full of vodka?

Easy - I read. I loved to read from the minute I started learning how, and I read everything I could get my hands on growing up. I started reading at an adult level when I was 9, and since no one else in my family liked to read, none of them read through my stuff to censor my choices.

I don't smoke, because I work in the legal field, but I do plan to bring my flask and wear the sluttiest clothes I own.

Oh, I'm trying. If I can ever manage to get hired somewhere out of state like I want to, I'll be dropping all contact. I'm hoping tomorrow explodes so spectacularly that they just ban me from their home, meanwhile.
