The immune system is so complicated. This news means existing antibodies in bloodstream of those who are vaccinated probably aren’t as good at fighting off virus particles rapidly enough to prevent all illness.

I won’t say that never happens but it’s not actually the optimal path for a virus. If a virus is known to kill, no matter the timeline, humans will take more precautions to prevent the spread.  The pressure is therefore towards milder impacts to decrease the likelihood of behavior changes to avoid spread.

Nothing about how today’s beer probably differs from beer at the time of origination? Ale is a really varied category and I don’t know the specifics but it was probably both lower ABV in the past along with tasting different.

I would think something like that would focus on mifepristone, which is a drug that can actually end a pregnancy. Plan B is a hormone that works on making the lining inhospitable and/or acting on the ovaries to prevent or delay egg release. It doesn’t end pregnancy but instead prevents them in the narrow window…

Making testing free or low cost would help people use tests more but the thinking is that making testing as annoying as possible would encourage more people to get vaccinated rather than rely on testing. I read that one too! I appreciate your balance there. I didn’t comment, I was too busy reliving trauma related to my own experience with drug interventions that cause all the diarrhea. 

I exaggerated a bit I guess but Phase two was announced all at once and covered three years and Phase three was announced all at once and spanned 4. Phase four was originally planned span at least 3 years but then covid mucked it all up.
