The truly amazing thing about Sexiest Man is how it always tends to be a good 5-10 years behind the actual zeitgeist. Rudd is a fine choice but would have been better in the early 2010s.

Wow that was boring for a samba. Not sure the track helped.

The real hack is to amass a collection of small visually similar objects to be placed at regular intervals *in front of* the books.   Then you get a visually appealing display and can organize your books by whatever preferred method you have. #maximilismforever

because deep down he knows he couldn’t open a pickle jar or read a whole book by himself

do... do you not periodically review your payslip to make sure your withholding is correct?

I thought the brilliance of the meat dress is it literally doesn’t need interpretation. As in, she has literally made herself meat, both objectified and used without empathy for the origin, no longer human.

yes my stomach only holds so much food

My county activated the emergency warning system to both call AND text me about DST. This is not an emergency ffs. They worked in some shame about changing out your smoke detector batteries but I’ve never had a smoke detector where the battery died without being loud and painful.

I never understood why people did this in Before Times so I really don’t understand it now.

Wellers are only cheap in states where they control prices.  Close to $100 in WA state these days. (Please don’t tell more people about Weller.)

I’m a person who has been terrified by the ocean her whole life and got a degree in it while thinking about* being professionally terrified by it. The only one I didn’t know was the sailor but its not really about the ocean and you know it.

People love Anna Ferris? After her book I think less “queen” or “beloved” and more “I hope she’s still in therapy and it’s helping.” Also she was married when she met Chris and marrying him was a lot less “scooping him out of a van” and more an addiction to serial monogamy and course correcting because he treated her

I like mashed potatoes. For something like a braised short rib or similar meat, there’s probably nothing better. On the Thanksgiving table, they’re just filler getting in between me and more delicious things. Stuffing is the superior carb for soaking up gravy and eating with turkey.

there’s two months left

My mom never tells anyone when something happens. When she feels bad she’s not in the mood to deal with anyone else or their feelings, so she doesn’t. To be fair the one time I was in the hospital I wasn’t thinking about telling anyone, I was more worried and focused on myself.

It’s pretty developmentally common for teens and young adults to go through a ~mystical~ phase.  I had a pretty intense dream interpretation and horoscope phase myself.  I think manifesting is like that.   Most people out grow it, I think the only real danger is that they’re vulnerable to shysters either ripping them

But do the kids continue to constantly do the most boneheaded thing possible to move the plot forward? S1 one felt like everything was rooted in plot, not character.
