People love Anna Ferris? After her book I think less “queen” or “beloved” and more “I hope she’s still in therapy and it’s helping.” Also she was married when she met Chris and marrying him was a lot less “scooping him out of a van” and more an addiction to serial monogamy and course correcting because he treated her

I like mashed potatoes. For something like a braised short rib or similar meat, there’s probably nothing better. On the Thanksgiving table, they’re just filler getting in between me and more delicious things. Stuffing is the superior carb for soaking up gravy and eating with turkey.

there’s two months left

My mom never tells anyone when something happens. When she feels bad she’s not in the mood to deal with anyone else or their feelings, so she doesn’t. To be fair the one time I was in the hospital I wasn’t thinking about telling anyone, I was more worried and focused on myself.

It’s pretty developmentally common for teens and young adults to go through a ~mystical~ phase.  I had a pretty intense dream interpretation and horoscope phase myself.  I think manifesting is like that.   Most people out grow it, I think the only real danger is that they’re vulnerable to shysters either ripping them

But do the kids continue to constantly do the most boneheaded thing possible to move the plot forward? S1 one felt like everything was rooted in plot, not character.

I pretty much only drink coffee made with vanilla hazelnut beans, at least at home.  Just with a little half-n-half.

Kilmer as Bruce (very intellectual as well as tortured, some of the others were kinda dicks) and Bale as Batman.

The correct answer is make kimchi fried rice.

Ben Wyatt had a Batman suit and he’s basically the perfect man, so fuck yes I would.

I stopped after my 12th birthday. High schoolers did not really do trick-or-treating where I lived. Looking back, I gave it up too early.  I think that trick or treating through high school is fine.

I have to say I agree with her. Intelligence really threatens people and puts them off. Having to deal with people aiming that insecurity at you makes it harder to get them in your corner and work together. I can’t imagine what that’s like in show business with all the crazy egos anyway.

Karma is a bitch.

Seafood, or maybe duck.   I can cook both at home but when I was a kid and rarely allowed to attend adult celebrations, they were always at fancy seafood restaurants with white tablecloths and too much silverware.

Right? She could retire if she wanted to.

Which Takeout Draft are you going to redo now that you have new blood?

When I started saving for retirement, the rule of thumb was save 10% towards it. I am not sure when it changed to 15% but I assume its because wages aren’t keeping pace with inflation.

It does not matter why she miscarried. If you criminalize some miscarriages, then it opens the door for them to criminalize any or all miscarriages. That means a woman who was driving and got into a car accident and miscarried as a result could be convicted of a crime. For driving. Or a woman who forgets the many

They was referring specifically to Harron bc idk pronouns. Idk but I assume longer term folks didn’t get cuts as bad.
