People still do community suppers afaik. The last one I attended myself was 2015, a grange corned beef supper. I imagine that chicken and waffles wasn’t really one after a certain point because of the requirement for the equipment to turn it out for a crowd. You’d need a dozen or more wafflemakers and multiple friers,

Yeah, I rarely bother if it’s going to be cold all day and we’re only getting snow.  Freezing rain is a different beast and putting them up can let you scrape the windshield sooner rather than waiting for the windshield to warm up enough for the ice to melt. 

Always thought he was a creeper.

I ended up redoing it on HR Block... totally different numbers for both federal and state returns.  I owe money this year so I am going to end up paying to file with them instead. 

They pay me too much money, so that helps.

I just answered with the weirdest things I could come up with. I got asked if I liked dogs (because I have a cat that keeps getting on the desk/camera) and I said sure but they rank after sharks and lizards.  100% true.

I dream about having a big outdoor kitchen like that and entertaining... add some chefs coming to cook food for me? Please. That Guy has the best life.

Also I made an awesome bacon, leek and camembert quiche that I ate for lunch all week.  

I didn’t mention how it was on Zoom and we weren’t supposed to turn off our cameras...

Aw man, we didn’t get any t-shirts. 

IDK every time I go super chef-y I get annoyed at the extra steps.  Like pureeing with the immersion blender (got parsnip everywhere too) when a mash would have been fine with a lot less work.   There’s a reason why we pay $$ for restaurant stuff like that. 

They are pretty sweet. It works with the lamb and the olives offset it so it worked as a plate.

Coffee-ancho rubbed lamb chops with parsnip puree and a calvestrano olive salsa verde.
