For me it is facebook. I grew up (and still live) in the south. My newsfeed is littered with people like this. And since they are surrounded by many people who agree with them, they feel free to share every thought they have.

In my experience they are the same people who think being gay is a choice. Because being shunned from your family/community and being treated as a second class citizen is totes fun!
