As someone with what we could call a “peach” I HATE racing seats. I have a WRX and when I test drove I was driving the TR trim level. The recaro seats made my butt cheeks go numb on the short test drive. I can’t even imagine a long drive in them. Still, I know I’m in the minority. Thankfully my premium WRX has very

Yeah certainly in my circles, even in a rather conservative area, it is often assumed that once a couple is done having kids, it’s the man’s responsibility to get the snip. I’ve had lots of couples both that I’m close to and that I know less familiarly that have been open about doing it. It’s always been assumed

I do think part of WRXs being ticketed probably has to do with how much they are pulled over. They really are police magnets (WRX driver here)

As a WRX driver, I can attest, the need to hoon is strong. I never feel an urge to speed in my husband’s Forester! To be fair though, I’ve never been pulled over in mine. Might have something to do with being a white woman. Profiling is real ya’ll.

Last night in Dallas was insane. I live near the other airport (DFW) and we were having 70mph wind gusts. It was basically raining sideways.

I’ll back you up. I tried REAAALLLLY hard to buy a used Subie wagon, because I wanted one super bad. Unfortunately they were all heavily modded and had 100k+ miles on them. It was depressing. I ended up with a 2016 WRX, and while I like it, I cry a little inside everytime I see a subie WRX wagon drive by.

TAKE MY MONEY NOW SUBARU

I was simultaneously impressed but also disappointed. It was really amazing...when it worked. I had a hard time with connection and getting kicked/playing on potato settings. I don’t have the most amazing connection but I have 50/50 fiber which should be more than plenty for it.

Actually, I think this is the opposite of what I was talking about. I meant the person in the tall car is left of me while I’m trying to make a right turn, and they’re pulled so far into the intersection that I can’t see around them.

Also people in tall cars that pull too far into an intersection, making a right turn on red impossible because you can’t see around them.

I would also add, people who purposefully prevent me from zipper merging by straddling two lanes. Apparently people’s egos are attacked by being passed in the merging lane.

Aggressive tailgating in traffic. I feel so incredibly unsafe when someone is tailgating me, and often I’ll switch lanes rather than deal with that. When someone does it in traffic it’s crazy making. There’s literally nowhere for me to escape to, and it’s impossible to go faster than the cars in front of me. It makes

Ah, sounds like home (I grew up near Amarillo)

This isn’t specific to one job, but American corporate in general. FREAKING PARENTAL LEAVE. I’m a woman, so generally I’m afforded better leave than men (or in the case of my company I am the primary caregiver for a child). I get 12 weeks UNPAID at my job right now, and that’s considered “good”. My sister works for a

That’s better for overall traffic flow anyways too. It’s people speeding up, then slamming on their brakes that causes a lot of traffic. If everyone coasted along at a good distance everything would be better.

I really wish it was easy to update my sound system. I have a WRX and it’s generally about $800 to update the head unit if you do it yourself. The sound sucks, and it’s all the head unit, speakers are fine. It’s infuriating.

Yes! You don’t have to shift all the time, or hold in the clutch. Hang out in second gear (in my case usually) and let engine braking do the job.

I mean, I drive a manual in Dallas-Fort Worth traffic and no regrets. It’s worth it.

Amen and amen. BRING BACK THE HATCHBACK.

Oh gross. The neon with the blue totally ruins it for me. :(
