Ok - I do not think it is a nefarious plot - it just doesn’t make any sense.
Kids of NFL, NHL, NBA season ticket holders don’t get to do this. Cricket teams don’t do this, do they? There has to be a reason why it started and why it is a thing, but is it just pointless? Seems like it.
