Ben Roethlisberger

she touched the football first, and then the dude reached in and grabbed it, elbowing her in the face in the process.

You know how read a story about an interesting person, and you feel like you can go share a beer with them, shoot the shit, and have an awesome time just hanging out with them.

Maybe they were hoping to ice the kicker.

I asked this acting District Chief why the driver was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center if he was deceased upon extrication. He told me, "Basically because he was Rob Bironis [sic]." He then left the scene.

The most important thing I learned from this is that we all owe Mark Sanchez an apology.

If Alex's right hand was just a little lower and out of view it would look like he just got caught...and he's not embarrassed about it either.

don't forget about Brian Kelly sending a kid up in a scissor lift in a wind storm to die.

At what point do we all just agree that in order to watch football at any level you have to admit that you're at least a little morally bankrupt?

"I love you as long as you keep winning, and I'll keep defending you blindly in the face of insurmountable evidence against you." Something to that effect?

In Kelly's defense, NCAA officials do have a long history of turning a blind eye to illegal contact by football players.

I really don't think that's the case. Basically everyone I know is a Cardinal fan and we really never talk about the Cardinals being morally better than anyone, but I don't live in St. Louis I'm from Southern Illinois so maybe it gets worse as you get deeper into that territory. Which by the way, is absolutely awful

Exactly this. Players deal with shitty, but consistent strike zones all the time. It's the 'consistent' that's rub here, which the ump was not, on a key call.

While the second to last paragraph may be true, Kemp absolutely has a right to be pissed about the 9th inning AB. Pitch 4: Ball. Pitch 5 in the exact same spot: Strike. No way to excuse that.

Oh, & I'm a Cardinals fan. Kemp has every right to complain about that at bat, because he's right.

Looks like Katy Perry had a pretty busy day with the whole Ole Miss fandom thing.

I'm a long time Pats fan and to me the issue is Belichick and his gigantic fucking ego. "Oh I can coach anyone." Guy has made terrible personnel decisions for five years now. One blatantly stupid move each season. This year was Mankins.

I seriously love that it's actually possible Goodell will actually be fired for this.

Far from the first time that a dick has been on full display in Downtown Chicago.

Probably the only black man recently to say "Oh no, I have to leave St. Louis."
