Oh god it's perfect.

I love Wisconsin. Wisconsin has many wonderful and beautiful things to offer the alcoholic beverage industry. These are almost all beer based. Durr Wisconsin, know what you do well and just fucking DO IT. Don't try to get fancy.

so like horchata with rum? why would anyone ruin lovely horchata with booze? Booze makes many things better, horchata started out perfect.

i cannot stop laughing at this

This policy is idiotic. Whole Foods is supposedly caring about people and the world and shit but the true agenda of the owner (ceo, whatever) is libertarian. He thinks if he hijacks hippie ideals he can apply them to his weird political views. Like when he claimed that we didn't need healthcare reform, we just need to

Amen, sister. I had one at 25 with my boyfriend of 4 years (we'd break up a year later unrelatedly). And it was the easiest decision I ever made and not once have I looked back. I don't do the "ohhhh, I'd have a 13 year old right now" hand-wringing, and never did. I am so grateful I had the choice (and great

I agree about the national anthem. It is well-nigh unsingable, and how the tune was originally a drinking song I can't understand. Well, maybe it was easier to sing when everybody was in their cups, and no one cared how it sounded. And Sebastien is a fantastic boy soprano. I hope his man's voice will sound as good as

THIS.

And we need to destigmatize abortion post-haste. We need to reclaim the semantic debate so that we pro-choicers don't ever concede ground by calling the other side "pro-life" (because, hahahaha!). We need more women who had one without any sense of conflict (as I am doing here, now) standing up and saying, I had one,

And America the Beautiful is so pretty —- it does gets odd in the later verses but so does the Star Spangled Banner (it gets all violent, talking about conquering).

#3 - It's almost always under the least optimum situations. The sound system probably isn't rigged for singing, it's before an important actual event, the president is standing next to you, maybe you're outdoors, crushing fear of forgetting the words..

Well, if you hadn't had that pesky revolution, you could still be singing God Save The Queen and it's a total doddle ;)

I'm an elementary school teacher, I hate the national anthem. You think listening to professionals butcher it is hard, try teaching it to fourth and fifth graders. I'm a professionally trained musician and I can't sing it without turning into opera girl during those super high notes.

"This Land Is Your Land" should be our national anthem. It's a lot easier to sing and it's got a very folksy, "American" vibe to it.

Our national anthem is actually a fairly difficult piece of music to sing. It's an octave and a half range and in most sporting arenas you inevitably have to listen to your own echo coming back at you while you're singing.

That's awful. I've been really lucky to not have bad side effects to most meds but those kidney stone were the WORST. Lamictal seems to have similar benefits to Zonegran and Topomax but for me, it hasn't caused any awful side effects. It hasn't done exactly the same thing for my migraines but they definitely have

Bahahahahahahaha!

What baffles me is the saggy pants in winter. That has to be cold on the tush when it's below zero wind chill and there's good four or five inches of real estate only covered by underwear fabric.

I *love* the phrase "ass over teakettle." Are you from the midwest? That's mostly where I've heard it. :)

GOD YES TOPAMAX. I take Imitrex and... whatever, the migraines are not awful anymore but oh, Topamax.
