I really would have liked to see Clyde, and Kitty, and maybe the Clyde-Kitty sibling rivalry. And I increasingly am not a fan of time-jumps, especially in finales. But the character stuff was all great.

I’m so glad Elementary ended with TV’s greatest platonic life partners getting ready to head into another case together.
It kinda hurts saying goodbye to this show Elementary I’ve consistently been a bit of a comfort food for me these past few years. While I agree the show never really was as good after the first three seasons it always did a good job of a reminding you of its best elements.
Rahul posted a sweet story about what his rage out scene meant to him and his family. Must be on his Twitter too but I’m not currently on it so here’s the Instagram link:
“How’s Peyton?”
This season has been very hit and miss, but their scene in the lab reminded me that I will really miss the trio of Liv, Rav, and Clive. That and the dance rehearsal scene are my 2 favorite scenes this season.
I loved Davis and Piper and Daisy figuring out that May was possessed, because she was “sweet” to Davis the previous night. Also it being a clue that she shot Sarge, because May probably would have preferred to beat him to death
Man Candy out maneuvering everyone was the highlight of the episode for me despite how much I want Ravi to get his hands on some cure.
I don’t think Davis is dead, only that Izel can body hop. He probably fell unconscious when she left his body for May’s — and that’s why May shot Sarge, because it was Izel instead.
I got TWO classic lamp reveals tonight. One on iZombie and the other on Elementary.
Wasn’t it established, like way back in S1, that Peyton can drink anyone under the table? How drunk would she have had to be this week?
And Ryder was a big part of that. It was nice to see her get a chance to get out of worried mother mode and show some comedy chops that I didn’t know she had.
Or poor Benny, the hamburger guy who was the first person to be nice to El in Season 1. Yes, you may object that we saw his body, presumably murdered by Hawkins Laboratory thugs, but we saw Will’s “body” too. They can fake those. I don’t get why Barb gets a fan club but everybody forgets about Benny.
I’m 47 years old and must be one of the “series most sensitive viewers”, because I was super thankful for that Neverending Story song scene to break the momentum, the tension, the pain. For me, it didn’t make the ending have less of an impact emotionally. My daughter and I were still weeping at the end. But it made…
“Structurally, I understand why the Neverending Story scene couldn’t be a post-credits scene, but it broke the tension with merciless speed. Maybe that’s a feature, not a bug, for the series’ most sensitive viewers?”
Okay I haven’t seen this show so I don’t really have anything to contribute, but KITTY!
I’m digging this show but it feels like it should air in autumn. If they get a second season I hope they air it when it is slightly colder outside - when leaves are changing colour, for example. Feels like a show I should watch wrapped in blankets to help me deal with the increasing tension and suspense. It feels…
