Finished a reread of David Sedaris' Holidays on Ice. I always forget about the fiction entries, which are weirdly callous and condescending, but the non-fiction essays are good enough to overcome this.

Freddy's burgers are amazing. I did a little dance when they finally opened a location in my town. Plus, when I hit the drivethrough on the way home from an appointment at the vet, they game me a little dish of soft serve for my cat, which was pretty cool.

Never tried Rocky Rococo, but the worst I've ever had was CiCi's. It was like taking out the cardboard from under a frozen pizza, throwing on a smattering of the cheapest cheese you could find, and calling it good.

Man, do you know how happy I was to discover Arby's curly fries in the frozen food section while shopping? Now I can have them at home and when indulging out!

The one thing I miss about moving away from Kansas is no Spangles. Whenever I go home for the holidays, I stop in and get a double cheeseburger and those awesome fries.

When I was a kid, I used to ask for extra LJS crumbs, and they would just fill up one of the paper boats with it. I don't do that anymore, but still appreciate any that get scooped in with my meal.

The very first time I went to a Whataburger (while in Texas for work), I got the Honey Barbecue Chicken Sandwich, and it was flipping amazing. I always make a point of going there when I am in the region, as they don't exist up in Nebraska.

I miss their chicken tenders, which were really good. Chicken fries are acceptable as a means of getting the BK buffalo sauce (which is my fave buffalo sauce) into my system, but I wouldn't mess with them if the tenders were still around.
