I still need to read High Fidelity. It's sitting right there on my bookshelf, even!

Read The Hundred Foot Journey for book club, and was unimpressed. It's on my short list of movies better than the book, and considering that the movie is pretty pedestrian, that's not exactly saying much for the book.
Ooh, I think I need to go listen to Overdrive now. Great song.

Belushi: A Mission From God graphic novel, which was godawful. The art was atrocious, the writing was not much better. If you weren't familiar with John Belushi before reading it, this wouldn't give you much insight, and certainly didn't do justice to what made him a magnetic performer; even excerpts from a few of…

Scary Monsters and Station to Station are my two favorite Bowie albums.
Yeah, the dog was very memorable. Although **spoilers for anyone that cares about spoilers for a nonfiction book** at the end I was like of course the dog died. God forbid he allowed to live out a happy life in Scotland. And who thinks it's a good idea to feed a dog with no teeth rack of lamb??
