I started reading Todd Snider's I Never Met a Story I Didn't Like: Mostly True Tall Tales. It's great fun so far. It's basically reads like he sat down at a bar to tell you stories, and just transcribed it to paper. If you're a fan of his music, I highly recommend.

That should work. By blue stuff, you mean Smurfs, right? They're quite the delicacy in France. They eat them whole including the bones…no wait. That's a bird. Never mind.

I just finished The Leaving of Things by Jay Antani for my book club. It was a really interesting story set in the mid-80s regarding an Indian boy just out of high school in Wisconsin and who had spent much of his life in the US having to move back to India when his father gets a new job there. Interesting

I think I may be the anti-Will Hughes, as I am - at best - ambivalent to Wes Anderson, and really disliked Moonrise Kingdom, but I loved, loved, loved Grand Budapest Hotel. It was neck in neck with Whiplash for my Oscar best picture choice.

Love that LCD Soundsystem song, particularly the BBC Sessions version.

I was wondering that myself. Despite my interest in the subject matter, I found Room 237 nigh unwatchable.

You know what, Stuart? I like you. You're not like the other people. Here in the trailer park.

I'll bring the chips.
