They should consider making a tv show about him.
They should consider making a tv show about him.
never even heard of it
This whole Teigen thing is interesting because of something a friend suggested but I haven’t seen posited online. Teigen, as mentioned here, was very outspoken against Trump. Stodden, who is not a vocal Trump supporter as far as I know, but is extremely ambitious, does have a publicist and legal team who are very…
And he was easily defeated by a blind man with a stick.
People have an unnatural LOVE for Boba Fett. For a character who in the OT had next to no screen time he has easily one of the biggest fan bases. I never understood it, but it is what it is.
I’m wondering if this is a project that was retooled to tie into the Scooby IP or if it was actually Kaling’s original pitch to do a different take on Velma. It’s a common Hollywood thing to take one pitch and retool it to tie into a franchise.
Once they trot out the show, I bet it has a good run.
You’ll find this is actually a bunch of journalism if you look around. Especially entertainment journalism; after all, if a celebrity, director or musician says something in an interview that ends up being super important to their work, past or present, what else are you gonna do but report on what another publication…

With actual horrible people out there having full-throated access to the “public bullhorn” it seems kind of, I dunno, “petty” to dump on Teigen.
I believe you mean "article-less"
yeah i got a pack of herpes says otherwise
Exactly. I have no problem with inviting people of color and different cultures into pre-existing franchises. Look at how Marvel came to have a black Capt. America. They didn’t recast Steve Rogers, they let Falcon earn it and FATWS even dealt with the racial tension of the decision. Diversity can be achieved in other…
To that point:
“No problem with having an East Asian voice actor, but why do we feel the need to retcon characters that have been around for 50 years?”
No dog, no deal!
No dog? Ruh-Roh!
Probably all the people who’ve protested against the new io9 hompage view... I’ve basically stopped coming here for news because it’s so awful. I enjoy the morning spoilers though, so I’ll usually find an external link and visit from there.
I think the happy middle ground here would be inserting the charming-but-trying-too-hard Kevin Bacon commercials for Visible Mobile.
