Holy shit. I love big brother but never bothered with the celebrity version because I assumed I wouldn't know who anyone was, which would negate the novelty. NOW that I know what I've been missing out on I will definitely watch.

This! I'm in the same boat as the OP - my buddy and I went together and we both have young kids (toddlers now) and it was a fun experiment for us. I still go back and read the email every once in a while because it was a lot of fun! Go with a bud and just do it for yourself :)
