Something I love to do in this game is to use the “follow” function, be it on my horse or longship, then turn on cinematic view and literally just enjoy the ride.  :)

People have to do what they have to do to stay sane, whether there’s a pandemic raging or not. Thing is, the translucency isn’t that bad of an idea. My company actually special ordered a number of clear, hard plastic masks for people whose colleagues need to be able to read their lips. (Of course those were far less fancy and not tinted, but even so.)
