Yeah, that story about the Carnival ship that broke down a few years ago made me highly anti-cruise. They had to tug it to my town as that was the only open cruise terminal. The news stations (unsurprisingly) were all in a rush to report. I was at college, but my mom called and detailed how horrific the conditions

This. It is so easy for people who aren’t Catholic to call is ass-backwards, but the fact stands that the Pope is the governing religious voice for just under 1/6 of the world’s population. There is no denying that whatever he says has some impact, and I agree wholeheartedly that Francis is bringing a human touch to

Read this while chopping onions, no reason just putting that out there

I was at the end-stage of the Olan Mills monopoly hold on photography backgrounds. Every damn picture of me as a babe has some weirdly colored background. Luckily they went out of style right as I got uncute, so yay?

Those weird cultural disclaimers always trip people up. When I tell people I dabble in the dark arts of homosexuality, they are quick to ask how horrible and oppressed I must be since I live in Alabama. When I tell them it ain’t all that bad, they almost look disappointed. Sorry, can’t qualify to represent my state in

That’s equal parts horrifying and equal parts amazing.

Yeah, I agree with what you said. I think it was “staged” in that they told them both to say whatever. I don’t think they handed them a script and said “Say this here then you say this, smile and look shocked” etc. So I think it was staged, but not scripted.

I concur. Shade has to be concise. It leaves you with more questions, questions that hurt to ask yourself.

I’m 22 and look old as fuq, but I still look younger than her. And I’m a guy.

YES it has all the feel-goodness of a feminist comeback. I’ve seen many parallels on how we’re all “eh whatever move along” to Miley’s tits when ten years ago we fucking invented a phrase to admonish Janet.

I’m surprised that he graduated from my university (albeit waaaay before my time). Like, I made it maybe a year of undergrad before I caught the liberal virus. Granted, my school didn’t have a scholarship program until 1993 so us poors couldn’t step foot in there for over 200 years.

I wish this was an isolated cause, but it was more of our campus culture. It’s what happens when you have a strongly religiously affiliated university that happens to be all-hands-on-deck for social justice. Liberal student body constantly fighting them damn Catholic overlords.

This is very true. After talking with two of my friends extensively about their abuse, I came to terms with the fact that one of my past encounters was by all definitions abusive. Before that, I placed 99% of the blame on myself. What scared me the most was that this was probably a pattern of abuse by this guy. My

I think it’s just idiocracy. My two cents. Someone can’t come to terms with the fact that the world isn’t rainbows, ponies, and shitty inspo posts tacked onto a picture of some stock nature landscape and uploaded to IG because “I’m such a good friend!”

This happened CONSTANTLY when I was in high school. Facebook was still a toddler to the masses, and no true etiquette for net presence had been established. Passive aggressive statuses (back when you still had the “is” tacked to your response) were the norm. Sides were formed and times were set after school for things

That’s actually the worst. This girl was just the worst manifestation of an SJW. I was talking on my phone in the library (the non-quiet floor, don’t hate), and my phone cover was the Alabama state flag. She said “Nice Confederate flag” in this all-knowing and superior tone. I didn’t even want to learn’er, I just

I don’t think much, because I don’t think she has strong mental fortitude. She breaks the first time someone watches her pee. I BET MONEY ON THE THING

For us, it’s just been a learned trait. My dad had this dog that lived FOREVER and was dull as fuck but had a litany of tricks up his furry sleeve. As we got more and more dogs, they just picked up on the fact that the more obedient/talented dog got more treats. We never “forced” them to abide, they just made the
