Deadpan* fixed it! Yeah, Plaza always brings a ton of energy to movies, even if they’re mediocre. She’s gotten to the point where I’ll watch her in anything. “Legion” was the real jumping off point for that.

I think it’s also a little easy to forget that Tom is also a very mercenary person who is also incredibly focused on his own career and prospects. It’s easier for him to say he “loves” Shiv without reservations, because she has more status than he does.

Well, Roman is usually vile to Shiv. She does feel close to Kendall; remember the hug last season when Kendall, iirc, almost confessed to the car accident. That’s why she was angry after their benefit conversation, when he hurt her, so she drafted that letter saying Kendall was messed up. Same hurt felt when he ruined

It’s the sending it to a woman Logan does not see as a valid object of sexual attraction that’s the problem. Roman could send dick picks to hot girls all day. That matches Logan’s idea of being a real man. Sending one to Geri does not.

No I’m pretty sure he meant all women have a ceramic glaze.

One thing that kind of bothered me about Logan last night was that he acted shocked that his son, who is ‘odd’ on his best day would send somebody a dick pic. Even if she is like 20 years his senior.

I agree on Siobhan and Tom; I actually thought that their marriage was on stronger ground here than ever before, because they’ve achieved that intimacy and honesty. Siobh doesn’t love Tom; Tom loves Siobh anyway. But also, I don’t read “I may not love you, but I do love you” as twisting the knife - I think it’s Siobh

I wish they had saved this for the end of the season. His relationship with Gerri being exposed by his childishness/obsessiveness/need, kneecapping them both, and Gerri distancing herself even more from him as a result would have put him into even more of a headspace for bunking up with Josh Hawley’s much more

“You’re my onion,” her mother says, “yeah, well, you’re *my onion,” Shiv says. Fuck, why didn’t the reviewer point that line out lol, it was absolutely the best of the episode. The almost-loving glance they give each other after, almost like they can finally agree on something, even if it’s such a painful truth.

Was anyone else a little surprised at the degree of Logan’s consternation and shock over a dick pic, which he later acknowledges is a term his company may have invented? I get that the double standard runs strong in Logan, to the point where he finds a May-Dec. between Gerry and his son disgusting, but not his own cons

I was half awake and just saw this one scene from the episode. I heard Caroline say, Logan would be abusive just to see if a person would come back. What a gut punch.

One of the greatest things about succession imo is that when you watch it the first time, you laugh. People say outlandish shit, make crude jokes it’s funny, it’s so fucking funny, right? And then you start thinking about what was actually being said, what is actually happening and it all becomes so so bitter. Even

For me was their mother’s comment that she wouldn’t have dogs because she knew Logan would abuse them, but she, of course, left her children with him…

How sad for you.

In the end, I doubt the dance will change the characters much and it certainly isn’t deep or meaningful. What it is instead is something completely unexpected and daring (it goes on a looong time with no jokes) and that’s to be applauded. In its own way, it’s anarchic and that fits the show.

“Jersey Shore” has two moments that had me gasping. The bums under the pier, and Dee’s braids getting caught in the ride’s gears.

Here to make sure PTSDee is on this list, and glad to see it is!

Kaitlin Olsen should have multiple Emmys just for being the epitome of class and elegance as Sweet Dee

Solis list, but Mac’s demonstration of how he works the door in “Time’s Up For The Gang” probably made me laugh louder and longer than anything else I've ever seen on TV.

The Christmas special where Charlie savagely beats up a mall Santa while demanding to know if he f***ed Charlie’s mom comes to mind
