And given this woman’s “What about the men/All lives matter” ramblings above, I’m calling bullshit on her understanding English.

Only semi-related, but I’ve been listening to Lizzo on Spotify all day today. Yesterday I listened to her interview on Phoebe Robinson’s (of Two Dope Queens) new podcast, Sooo Many White Guys, and she is amazing. “Good As Hell” is amazingly catchy.

This video is the best video.

Of course— but with a drum line backing her up. You should check out the video on YouTube, it’s a really great performance.

It’s of course way too late to edit, but I just realized this morning that I called her Andra O’Day, and not her actual name, Andra Day. I did it on Facebook, too. No idea why.

I'm moving soon and Cummings is going to be my new Congressman and I'm SO excited. 😍

This was beautiful, and I’m so glad the DNC gave these women the opportunity to speak. Seeing them all together like that was so powerful. And then Andra O’Day’s performance immediately following was perfect, and I have basically cried my way through Day 2.

Whenever I’m reminded that Philly has a subway, I think of this song.

While I was at my poling station for the primaries, an elderly woman came in. One of the volunteers was walking her to her booth, and after consulting with her (and asking if it would be OK to do this), announced to everyone in the room at the time that she was 100 years and asked us to give her a round of applause.

I’m always covered in bruises from klutziness as well. I have a bad habit of misjudging stuff like door frames and whacking a hand or knee or hip. I’ve gotten to the point that I can accurately call what’s going to leave a bruise.

I’m seeing him next month (!!!) for the FIRST TIME which is totally shameful considering I grew up in NJ. I’m so excited!!

Her expression in the top gif, when she starts pulling away after his touch goes lower, is what makes this extra creepy for me. She looks so uncomfortable, I feel awful for her.

The white shirt in the first row of pictures looks like it could be kind of flattering— if you’re like Audrey Hepburn/Angelina Jolie thin.

The dark horse pick.

As someone dealing with short hair and bangs in humid weather, I’m also inclined to agree.

Here’s a ThinkProgress article on it, with a quote from an attorney at the Campaign Legal Center (who formerly worked for the FEC):

I would love for Trek to take Kirk in a Captain Jack Harkness direction. (Would that make Bones his Ianto?)

The tongue. Gah, the tongue out in this gif and while dancing in the above clip. Just... yeah, sploosh sums it up.

The real question is, why were you looking at Jimmy Fallon during that clip?

My Latin teacher was awesome. We watched episodes of Duck Tales and Wishbone that had anything to do with Roman/Greek mythology.
