Ah the luxury of having never bought an item from Walmart. You obviously have never lived in a small town with poor parents, and the only place for 30 miles is a Walmart. In rural areas, it’s a necessity.

“What advantages does this war have over, say, an ethnic cleansing, which I could also afford?”

Yup, definitely the cover for the next “A Gronking to Remember” book.

It also means he got drunk once and cheated on his wife.

Parsing this horrible grammar is giving me a migraine.

You would think (and yes I know thinking was thrown out the window long ago) that they would have fixed this issue after the Fredrick Douglas situation last month, but nooooo.

My first thought was: SHE IS ON MONEY!

Doesn’t she have her own dollar coin, too?

“Nobody knew women’s history could be so complicated”

I hear she’s becoming recognized more and more.

And a coin! (at one time)

Donald . . . Calvin was funny because he was so frequently wrong. He’s not supposed to be a how-to manual for life.

I saw the part of the quote about whether or not we’d heard of her, but I hadn’t seen that he went on to say we probably hadn’t. That man gives me such a headache.

he said this for real?

Nothing of substance to contribute but I have to salute your screen name.

He’s a big fan of the “more and more” phrasing, as if this excuses him from having to grasp the historical, social, or political nuances of anything. “Trump’s administration is a dangerous, reckless ogliarchy. We see that more and more.” Oh neat! I can do it too!

“I’m shocked that you’ve heard of her”...? I guess HE’D never heard of her, so he thought no one else had, since he’s the smartest guy on Earth and all.

And her own goddamn coin, ffs. You’d think he’d be up on something money related.
