A perfect example of the need to educate people about the cycle of abuse and its psychological effect on victims.

And I think very little of those who blame abuse victims and do not understand what the typical pattern/cycle does to the abused.
Sadly, the owners have already circled the wagons. Without proof that Goodell actually saw the video himself, they're not going to oust them. He makes them money, and that's all they seem to care about.
Yes. It's sickening. He cannot stand on his 'I am a disciplinarian" soapbox any longer. Suspending a player for a year for smoking pot looks ridiculous in light of not just the Ray Rice issue, but the larger issue.
They should do SOMETHING, but nothing they do is going to exonerate Goodell for the blind eye he turned to the many, many, many domestic abuse crimes NFL players have been accused and/or convicted of during his tenure.
Oh, man. My heart just swelled up and burst into a million pieces. On a day like today, that feels good. Thanks for posting this.

YOU'RE LEAVING????
JULIAN MCMAHON!!!!
I am crying at my desk. So sweet!
Oh, fuck this guy. You have a side of the story. A storage space called a 'rape room' is OK; female employees who object to its name get terminated.
I feel emboldened to re-write Bobby Brown's "Humpin' Around" and title it "Whorin' Around"
I will devour this book in one sitting - I am so excited.
Agree 100%!
YASS.
What a woman - what a life. I remember reading her autobiography years ago; it was so engrossing. Getting discovered as a model and then getting signed to a personal contract by Howard Hawks at the urging of his wife (Slim Keith, a legend in her own right).... meeting and marrying Humphrey Bogart... his illness and…
