Grats to EA for diverting teams and funds to a genre that doesn't need yet another game and away from something new.

I'll go along with the boss theory more or less. My biggest pet peeve is usually the end boss which not only is dramatically harder than anything else you might have done in a game, but may require a different skill set than you've used for the majority of the game.

How did Microsoft manage to spend so much time with the Kinect hardware and software and yet completely fail to do anything interesting with it?

@S0NofaGUN: If you could raid some of the top real estate developers in the world, you would find they are more difficult to take down than Deathwing. They also have better loot, so it would be legendaries all around, not a few stinkin' BoP epics.

@Covertghost: For the first time in history, you might be right. This is exactly the right game at the right time with the perfect circumstances to make a digital download a big plus over retail. With a game like WoW there is absolutely no big plus to a physical copy.

Deathwing is not the Destroyer, he is the real estate developer. While he has dug up numerous neighborhoods, he has also lovingly built new towns, transported new NPCs to their freshly painted buildings, and spent countless hours hand placing new herbs and ore deposits all over the land.

Why do they even bother purchasing rights when they could have just come up with their own IP and created whatever crappy premise they wanted?

I disagree from the standpoint that pseudo remake/follow-ups would actually be better than Skate or any recent Tony Hawk game. If they followed the Tony Hawk 2 or Tony Hawk 3 (maybe even 4) formula, but took advantage of better graphics and larger, more varied worlds to play around in you would have some great fun.

@sesskie: That's good to hear. I was waiting to do those with a Goblin alt, but I might dabble a bit before then.

@minneyar: Yep Silverpine is the place to go, skip Northern Barrens. The Silverpine quests have some in-game movies, bombing runs, and a lot of overhaul making it way better than it was. Ghostlands wasn't changed at all, so if you roll a Blood Elf, leave as soon as you get out of the starting stuff (roughly level 6)

Wait, surely the crew is spending some time doing the Jak PS3 HD release for 2011? Or is all that stuff outsourced?

@Greyspectre: Well the value element goes away once you're into the monthly fees for all those characters, but if that is what you like to do, then so be it. Besides if you have 5 computers going, then the cost of WoW is a non-issue

I hope we get a collection of the best of these DLC games on disc one of these days.

@Whytookay - Zoom. Enhance!: $5 for classic WoW and a month of game time is an insane value. Given the changes to how talents are done, you can try all sorts of classes and specs and experience a large part of Wow PvE, PvP, etc.

@JesterBee: In classic WoW and BC to a certain extent, you should be leveling so fast that even with no heirloom gear or other XP buffs most quests will go green or gray if you try and do everything in a zone.

@JesterBee: Yeah turkey holiday is the relatively quick way to level cooking.

Well having played on and off since day one I can see what is good and bad. There is a comfort food level to WoW these days, but at the same time it has excitement and a sense of accomplishment for group play that is mostly lacking in just about every other type of game.

@JesterBee: Yeah, but you can level your cooking to 350 in just twenty minutes...

I still get by with my 60GB original PS3, but that 10GB install would put quite a dent in my free space. Hopefully, reviews will give a good indication of the change in loading times, whether it only impacts race starts, everything, etc.?!

@trunkenmath: Well I liked the outdoor parts of Halo 1, but the inside areas I consider some of the worst level design ever inflicted on an FPS, so unless I would skip levels there is no way to play that whole game.
