There is a link to your account settings from every Google service page. If you don't like something turn it off. Google works great even with all tracking turned off, including basic web searches.

If I can't try before I buy via rentals then I will simply be buying far less games. I already ditched pre-orders this generation except for a few select titles I knew couldn't go sideways. I hate DLC and downloaded games that I'm not going to be able to play years later, so if MS and Sony go with these anti-piracy

Sadly, it is unlikely that this boondoggle will ever be killed. They've managed to make sure that every state is involved in its construction.

Apple already stated that Siri isn't possible on the MacBooks due to the lack of the equivelant noise canceling microphones of the iPhone 4s. The iPad also lacks the necessary hardware. Yes, you could plug a separate headset or microphone into the MacBook that would be just as good or better and with a USB adapter do

I don't understand playing demos of this sort. If you already like Mass Effect, then this is simply playing something you are going to play again in a few weeks right? If you didn't play or like ME1 or ME2 then this isn't going to mean anything to you because of the type of game ME is. None of the characters,

But it is SUPPOSED to be WoW in space, so welcome to the first year of WoW. The problem is going to be that as they add more servers you might have to restart a new character on a new server and ditch the first one you picked as it will continue to be overloaded. I doubt the concept of free server transfers is part of

In the first part of the game, the things that ran through my mind were:

I was slightly tempted by the remake not because I care about the multiplayer or even the story. What I remember fondly are the big open areas of Halo which often involved NPC co-op on tanks or warthogs or just more epic battles. Then I remembered how much was horrible about Halo and I put my wallet away.

As long as they finally fixed the horrible faces that you normally have to talk to all the time for conversations and quests. I swear I never finished one of the earlier games simply because of that horror...

I wasn't saying that things aren't different and certainly the quests are there, but after you get to level 15 or so, I don't know how you ended up seeing much of it unless you did a lot of green and gray quests. I did do the Silverpine chain which was nice, but even then I had to do a number of gray quests.

The last expansion was easily the worst they have ever done. So much emphasis on redoing content that NOBODY PLAYS! Yes it is nice to fly around in the old world, but having leveled a number of characters since the expansion I can say that you never see any of that stuff they redid. They wasted their time.

My experience with Siri is that I generally end up having to type something in anyways. It might be because "the network is unavailable" or Siri mistranslates what I said or translated what I said but then doesn't know what to do with it and so on. For hands free there is nothing like it when it works, but there are

Brian Eno effect?

Honestly, I haven't been following close enough either and it makes me want to just wait for six months or a year for the GotY version that has everything unlocked and is cheaper and just rent the initial version.

Yep, I'm a 3gs person and have been waiting for a while to upgrade. I spent a ridiculous amount of time contemplating life under Sprint and Verizon, but at the end of the day I'm back to the notion of a locked AT&T phone. I would love to have it unlocked, but I think for international travel, which I do a fair amount

My suggestion is to simply get an iPod Touch or iPad and rely on wi-fi for data usage and free national and international phone calls via Talkatone (utilizes Google Voice) or a cheaper pay model such as Skype.

BTW, when you upgrade from an older phone, what happens to the old one? Do you have to return your old phone or do you get to keep it? The reason I'm wondering is that I can potentially unlock the 3Gs that I have to use as my travel phone, while taking advantage of moving up to a 4s.

I forgot to add that with AT&T you have to make sure to turn on the data and voice plans at the right time and then cancel them. There is no such thing as saying "travel date start and end" and asking for 50 or 200MB of data and international voice for that time period. It is very easy to come home and not realize you

What I still haven't figured out is what Sprint and Verizon will offer to iPhone 4s users if you are traveling abroad? With AT&T you simply pay through the nose for data, but you don't switch your phone number, phones or sims. With the Verizon iPhone 4, I think they gave you a different phone for travel.
