@SinisterBill: Do you remember which game shows multiple people or what kinds of things were done in the demo?

@kasplat: Kotaku talk radio just said that Kinect is pretty much standing gameplay only, so fail MS, fail.

Still confused questions...

@Lumination: I made a fairly lengthly post on the speakup channel comparing costs for the new PS3 and 360 devices.

Sly Collection has to be playable with a standard controller as well or did they bugger up the gameplay somehow?

@Rich Eddington: The only thing I can think of is that some services like Netflix may only move to a discless service for PSN Plus members, otherwise you would still need to insert a disc to use the service.

@Fedaykin: Yep, very few people would pay for the other Gold services on their own. But consequently this is also the reason many people buy the multiplayer focused cross-platform games on the PS3 instead of the 360, even though they own both consoles.

Screen resolution?

I'm going to pop-in DKC on my SNES today in support of this ;-) I hope they support the classic controller, it is easier to hold than the sideways Wiimote.

The days of split-screen multiplayer FPS are probably past, but I'm looking forward to diving into the single-player, at least as a rental.

@John-Hamptonshire: There are limits on what the Wii and 480p can do and it is a bit much to expect much more than we already saw with Twilight Princess in terms of realism.

@John-Hamptonshire: Obvious Steve Jobs wireless jab, but yes, obviously something is very wrong.

@Mit: I'm actually a bit confused. If in fact they are increasing the display area, then that is radically different than keeping the same area view, but increasing the resolution of the background and sprites in that area.

Wow, unless they do some major bundles with that they just made a non-starter. I can't see any third-party developers being very happy knowing that price point.

Wait, why did they announce a new box and not have Na...Kinect bundled with it? Is this a stop-gap machine until the fall because they need to compete with Sony on drive size and Wi-fi? It still doesn't have Blu-ray, so this must just be a price point adjustment for the redesigned box.

I wonder if it works above and below the TV like the Wii sensor bar? Since I have a wall mounted HDTV it would need to go below and I would need to add a stand for it or place it on the center channel speaker, which would be sort of ugly.

It also looks like MS is the clear winner already for most embarassing E3 moment.

I have a table in front of my couch just like most people, so not only is the family fake, but the idea of a large empty space between the TV and couch is fake too.

@ExploadingAlah: I don't know about the 360, but since the PS3 already has backup and machine transfer software as part of the system, I'm sure it will be supported on any future system.
