@bowen13: I might agree with you, but I just finished Final Fantasy XIII and the bar for story has been lowered so far by FFXIII that Infamous might need to be nominated for a Pulitzer.

Still waiting to here the system requirements. It is clear now that even though the "game" is being split into three parts, there is enough in the first installment to justify the cost, but I would like to know if it will run decently on my systems.

What I see is that EA is willing to pump money into a new franchise that didn't sell enough to justify more games. That is a good thing from a gamer perspective, but it is also why Wall Street has punished EA.

@UCB-Disco: Actually, I would argue that despite the success of the Wii financially and the attempt to buy into that with Move and Natal there are still only two games ever made for the Wii that really works with the original Wiimote. Wii Sports works brilliantly because it is very forgiving and has little emphasis on

@Shadowlayer: I never bothered to get a PSP simply because it lacked dual thumbsticks, or a single one for that matter and the idea of playing PS1 and PS2 style 3D games on it always seemed ridiculous.

And what's awesome about concept art boys and girls? That's right, it doesn't show how horrible the game will look when it is actually on the W480ii...

Thank the lord, now it looks like the crappy sideways Wiimote might not suck. I'm still baffled by the 2D movement in a 3D environment, but it sure looks like it will work. Who knows, maybe it is an advanced Klonoa.

@Bondage_Zombie: Funny, I was also playing a lot of Demon's Souls before I played DA:O. I ended up going from a rental that I thought I would return a week after trying it out and getting frustrated by the "difficulty" to a game I had in my PS3 for almost two months that I tried multiple character styles with.

@Alessar: I know what you mean, but I still find it a bit disturbing.

Whoa, I jus finished Persona 4 a couple of months ago. P4 was quite streamlined and it was less disconcerting than the others since you didn't "shoot" yourself in the head to use your persona.

@aurahack: This is a BBC show. It came out last year and I would have bought it from Amazon UK, but despite being a Blu-ray it has PAL standard def elements (most likely the extras) that simply won't play on most Blu-ray players including and in some cases will lock the player up.

Of all the polls so far, this one was the dumbest for the Kotaku crowd. Most of us love all sorts of games and this picking a favorite series stuff is just going to give you warped data.

@Rick-e: The man is seriously out of touch with what makes a game fun these days.

This deals with many of the hardware gripes I have with the Wiimote and nunchuk and is surprisingly being offered at a reasonable price. Simply not having a cord between the controllers and a rechargeable battery is a huge win.

@BONERJAM: Yep, he hasn't done anything good for a while.

Sadly we're in the realm of lawyers and we may never know the full story. It is not in the interest of Activision to expose all their internal documents or risk injunctions against future CoD releases.

What really gets me about this is how short-sighted the management of Activision must be. Don't they realize that top talent simply won't be interested in working for them in the future since he potential upside in a contract is just a sham.

Well I'm definitely still playing the PS2, though I typically play PS2 games on my fat PS3. I just finished Persona 4, which was a lot of fun. I would say it was better than some recent RPG I played, but a lot of people would get pissed off ;-)

@zgreenwell: Yes Sega published both the Jet games. Smilebit was the developer on the first one and I too would like to see a sequel. I have to admit that it was one of the main reasons I bought a Dreamcast and later bought an Xbox (Halo turned out to be a disappointment for me).
