Maybe there are several material that we describe as Teflon because that was the first and most famous coating? I don’t smell anything when I heat up my pans, but I never abandon a pan on a burner, either.

I freeze the leftover tomato paste flat in a baggie so I can break off a piece for something as tasty as this.

I cook them all when I open the pack, but I put the cooked ones into a freezer bag. When I need a snack, I pull out one link and shock it for 99 seconds.

After a while the lack of stability can be grinding. I had 7 jobs one year and enjoyed them, but it was all task work and I knew that it would be over in a month or so. It did pay for my first trip to Europe, though.  After a year with the temp company I was able to turn down some jobs they offered and still stay on

We planted herbs in the driveway so that when the plants were bruised the gave off a pleasant aroma. Oregano, thyme, basil, etc.

Much easier than “over easy” and they can be tender because you don’t use high heat.
