It’s not like they had a huge staff of reporters all over the world. People called them and handed them the gossip - frequently including clips and photos. If they couldn’t run the program under those exhausting conditions, it deserved to die.

Population of UES is a bit over 124,000. 27 robberies is not a staggering number. It’s more than one might wish for, but not really a high number.

For some people, it is highly addictive.

Criminals don’t create crime waves; newspapers do. 27 robberies in a population of a few million is unfortunate, but it is not a big number.

“...the Squad, aren’t going anywhere...”   Great!  They will help the newly-elected get a running start.  There is much to do.

I guess it’s a match made in heaven. Self-absorbed staff serving self-absorbed guests. I saw a big to-do over some fried food (?) and I’m not sure what else. I know these guests are paying big bucks, but the meal did not sink the ship and leave them in lifeboats.  It’s like the soap operas from radio and TV.

Maybe the guy in Texas read about it here.

Ric Scott, the previous governor of Florida is trying to blame his predecessor for the deliberately bad unemployment system. Even during good times, the system was unworkable and it was designed to be that way so people would abandon the effort. They admit as much. I’m in a mostly red county, and people here are

“You’re not allowed to talk to Ellen or look her in the face” Y’mean distract her when she’s trying to work? Hi Ellen Hi Ellen Hi Ellen   Hi Ellen Hi Ellen...I think that’s a poorly phrased way of saying, “Just do your job.” There may be other issues, but that one has gotten a lot of attention.

It’s like the Day Room on a psych ward.  I wish I enjoyed it, because it gets a lot of attention, but I keep wondering why they let people treat them so poorly.

I believe he was talking to player X at the time. Some people don’t re-tell jokes very well.

At a friend’s house for dinner, I remarked at how good the salad dressing was, and he pulled out a very small bottle of champagne and told me that’s all he uses.  Tart, sweet, light.  It works.

Magnalite was great stuff back in 1970 and I happen to like non-stick. They’re working perfectly into year three. I don’t use Pam on them, I soak them before washing if there’s crust. I let them cool before putting water into them. They require almost no attention and they are very non-stick. I don’t let anything

Feed those kids from a food bank. Putting them at risk is unconscionable. What’s happening is people are yielding to Trump saying that kids will be damaged, which is a crock. Some people were predicting child suicides. We only tried remote learning for a month or two and now we know it needs to be improved. That

I was part of the eligible at age 65 group and I retired at almost 63 due to illness that looked ominous. Lesser benefits for a longer time - I think it matched out when I was about 70. Had a few slim months in there, but for once, I felt financially safe, especially when I turned 65 and had Medicare.

I think the recipe starts out with equal amounts of flour, sugar, and preservatives. Don’t forget the preservatives - they give it that touch of authenticity.

The people in the photo are a little too close together for my comfort even though it’s outdoors. I’ll deal with takeout until there’s a vaccine, I guess.

People are negotiating with a virus. “It’s ok, because I was only exposed in the crowd for a few minutes.” “We spoke less than 15 minutes” “I washed my hands after we ate” “Only 3 people weren’t wearing masks” “It won’t happen to me, because I gargle”..

In your example at least some of the water in a) microwaved water is hot (red). The water in b) convection seems pretty cool (blue)according to your color code.
