I'd get some sort of a real stand, even the plate or picture stand should work well. Smart Cover makes iPad top-heavy and it doesn't take much effort to flip it over.

@tomsomething: I found stand to be too unstable for my comfort. I like to hold my Pad in lanscape mode with the back cover folded back. It's hard to describe but it was (is) very comfortable to hold this way, plus it worked well when layed down on the table. Smart cover, when folded, was not as "natural" and

I found it to be mostly useless and took mine back. Wish Apple made would remake the original case instead.

Guess where I was on May 1st 1986? Downtown Kiev, attending May Day parade, some 50 miles south of Chernobyl. By then EVERYONE knew what happened, it was impossible to cover up. Kinda hard to cover up the endless columns of fire engines, ambulances, military trucks, etc that crowded the streets of Kiev, as well as

So... what's your point? Sure Soviets were competing but it was not in their interest to push the limits that would result in failures, since these types of failures are nearly impossible to cover up, too many people are involved.

Soyuz 1 tragedy was covered by Pravda and other state media, Komarov was given a state funeral which was televised.

I could tell you that I've lived in USSR for many years and that I know a cosmonaut personally (who by the way was not a fighter pilot, was not even in military), but that wouldn't make you believe me anyway, so I won't bother.

This "story" is complete bullshit. First of all, no cosmonaut was EVER ordered into space. Secondly, Soviets were too concious of their space achievements and international prestige that comes with it to knowingly launch a defective space vehicle. Thirdly, Soviet government never denied the tragedy when it occured,

France taking decisive military action??? NOW I've heard of everything.

It's very disturbing to watch this town reduced to muddy wasteland in a matter of seconds, knowing that thousands of people didn't even stand a chance at survival. Yet it's also very humbling to realize that not even the most advanced technology will protect us against the wrath of Mother Nature and it won't take

I don't know what thoughts and ideas went into the design of this odd contraption, but it's obvious that "ergonomics" and "common sense" were not on the list.

Personally, I was waiting for Jason Bourne to show up and kick some ass.

@ian.g.case: Postpaid plans renew automatically every month unless you tell AT&T to cancel it. Prepaid is just that, you buy a one moth's worth of data and it will automatically expire at the end of the month.

@Pasukun: Well, we already have individually wrapped prunes so might as well. Personally, I am waiting for individually wrapped peas.

TSA can search anyone on premises regardless if that person is departing or arriving.

@mrsilver: Huh? Have you not noticed "clear" button on the notification bar?

So... Where did the "harassment" part come in?

"..who took a photo posing with his stolen loot.." As opposed to "legally acquired loot"?

@Asraiil: My chain says "no".
