I thought it was pretty great. It had it’s flaws to be sure, but overall I really enjoyed it. I’m excited to see where it goes from here.

That’s not a comparison, you just reviewed MA 1...
I’d go even further than what the article states, because the emails support this notion: the best writing in ME:A comes from all the interactions the squad have with each other.
Weird that you would consider DS3 outdated in comparison to Nioh, when Nioh is bogged down by too many systems that don’t play well together. I mean, it’s controls like butter, but why would you ever waste monies crafting weapons in that game, when you’re just gonna find a better weapon in the next level. It’s…
I’m not at all on board with saying it’s outdated or that the end of the series is welcome in any way. Yes some other games are faster paced but a lot of the atmosphere, tactical play and general Dark Souls-ness of Dark Souls comes from the deliberately paced gameplay. It’d be a massive shame if Dark Souls is the last…
The last thing I would call Dark Souls is ‘outdated.’ the game has a mysteriousness and atmosphere that permeates every bit of it, which is exactly where games like Nioh miss the mark. I’d take Dark Souls over Nioh and it’s other copycats any day.
People truly don’t appreciate that amount of testing and balancing it takes to create something this dynamic, this challenging, this balanced, this beautiful, and not be completely impossible.
I dig Nioh a ton, but imo it just isn’t as satisfying, moving and engaging as Souls is to me. Both great games though, and great review!
Sorry you feel that way mate.
It reminds me a lot of Mass Effect one. Cool ideas that didn’t fully form. Some missed opportunities, some bad designs, but a solid starting point. Only now, we aren’t really being introduced to a whole new world like we were in ME1, and we have three whole games with fond memories to unfairly compare this one to.
Name one thing except TWO MAJOR PARTS OF THE GAME DESIGN...come on dude
You do not remember the other games properly. Rose colored glasses.
It might be fan fiction, but it’s a very good fan fiction that I can’t put down. It’s alright because the combat and exploration is better than any of the previous games!
It’s a fine game. I might even go as far as to say it’s a great game. People are bagging it because it isn’t WITCHER 4 IN SPACE! Not everyone is going to love it, and that’s fine, but the hate its been getting is unfair IMO.
Really? It’s hardly portable because of its size, doesn’t last long, has only 1 game, feels extremely incomplete a game system, and the Wii U ports have worse graphics than they had on the Wii U (Splatoon “2" is ugly as shit, and Mario Kart isn’t looking good either). Mine is already getting dusty and I’ve had it less…
Good because it’s a quality system that they should’ve pushed harder and fixed up a little bit over here. The mistakes they made with the system weren’t even massive ones. They just shot themselves in the foot a lot.
Maybe you should ask straight people you know in real life why they aren’t gay. Isn’t it a little immersion breaking to walk up to anyone and screw them just because YOU want to? And here people are complaining about the faces not looking realistic, thats nothing compared to the expectation of having writing and…
I believe the LGBT community needs to take a step back and remember who their friends are. The team at BioWare has done more to include and respectfully represent homosexuality in their games than any other major AAA company/franchise I can name. Not only do deliberately include LGBT romance options, but these…
That’s adhering dangerously close to the idea that sexuality is a choice.
Adding options is “hijacking?”
