I honestly don't think the Elenium trilogy had sex scenes in it. I mean, there was implied stuff I guess. They did have a daughter after all. But I don't recall any explicit sex.

You could always get yourself a kilt or sarong. Still a skirt, but more culturally identified with males. Some people will still give you a side eye, but some people are also assholes.
