There were 5 books, Night Watch, Day Watch, Twilight Watch, Last Watch, Day Watch, and New Watch, and they are all quite good.

I'm sorry, but when you're dealing with Mega-Cities, Zipf is not the law.

The first four Night Watch books have been out forever in paperback and kindle. I've owned them for years and never got around to reading them. I guess this is just a rerelease w/ a new publisher.

You mean like we already do on all the other aticles?

a man CAN dream!!

a can dream for man

I would gladly send you a can if I didn't think guy's in Haz-mat suits would take it out and 'dispose' of it. I reckon this isn't real, but some marketing ploy

No problem! If you ever want to learn a little more I'd find some videos of, or articles by, Jeffrey Freidman. He discovered one of the major hunger hormones (leptin), so he explains these processes quite well.

Certainly gets the ball rolling in the right direction.

This.
This right here is the best thing I've read on the internet all week. I'm stealing this.

They scienced the fuck out of that shit! GITSOME!

Well the engineers are always the clever ones. And just like any government/corporation it's the management and their politics, internal and external, that toss spanners into the works with their morning coffee.

And on a ridiculously small budget.

If it survives its trip around the sun, it may very well be incredibly bright.

You could also go with the more alien descriptions of angels (say a Cherubim with an ability for each animal head). There's also the old standby options like the four riders or the angel of death.
