You know what I'd be okay with? Branching the world of Mass Effect into another genre. Shepard had the shooter/action titles, lets move onto an RTS series, or a Turn-based probably-tactical-RPG series, or hell, a straight up doomclone style shooter! First person, one soldier against the galaxy.

He can use a bow and arrow! That was a good tip. I was finally able to get through that dungeon through copious "run away." Thankfully, the boss didn't have the "No Metal" rule for the whole thing.

Oh, I know not to wear metal. Can't get through the dungeon with any of it on. It just means I'm so much squishier than I like, can't keep the healing up.

The Secret World, not a jrpg but an MMO, has a lot of fun challenges like that. I like that they're changing things up, but that won't stop me from crying about it! I miss my heavy armor, haha

I haven't even gotten to the boss yet. The "magnet cave" is just kicking my butt. Having to unequip everything of Cecil's, even if I could replace some of it, is a real problem.

I'm in the middle of FFIV right now, and man. This "North East cave" with the Dark Elf is a pain in the ass!

HA. What a stupid child I was. All these years, and you know what? I never bothered looking at Tanis' character build. I own the 2e and 2e Dragonlance campaign setting, and haven't looked once. Guess I'm not much past some of that childish assumptions. Is Tika a barbarian? I want Tika to be the barbarian.

I'm still using Tanis. In some MMOs, I will even just use variations on it to keep my characters and alts easily recognizable.

Tanis, Male Paragon Vanguard. Kaerin, Female Renegade Sniper. Unrelated - The paragon path feels better, the renegade path is the better story.
