Yeah, when I lived in Arlington Davis and Porter were bigger comic book stops for me. If I had the money to eat out more, going to Porter would be worth the trip for comics and tasty food.

Haven't heard'a this site before. Thanks for the link :D

Thanks for the tip. I'll check them out for sure

Thanks for the help! It's always good to hear from someone in the area. I may check out Comicopia as a normal route. It's only a half hour on the T, not as bad as I thought.

I had a couple small piles of loose issues gathered up over the first twenty years of my life. When moving, I looked at them, let out a sigh, and moved them to a recycling bin. As nice an idea as keeping them all is, it's just not feasible.

Looking like the best bet, thanks!

When I lived in Nashua I liked Harrison's. As for Comicopia, it's not in East Boston, and not near my job by South Boston. Up closer to Fenway I think. I like it, it's just out of the way. Means trek there, trek back, less time for the meet people aspect.

Thanks for the tip :D Should'a been my first stop, really.

I completely forgot about Digital. Two weeks after store date wouldn't bother me too much, I'm not in any major comic book circles to talk about the stories with. But the ease of digital is a good point, thanks.

It's not a bad idea. Means not having to store the paper somewhere.

Yeah, I've always been intrigued by the Ultimate Universe, this supposedly self contained set of worlds. I've just never gotten up to buying monthly comics, mostly trades. Problem is, I always forget to get the new ones between releases.

Good to hear from another local. I know I could always hit Newbury Comics or Comicopia or something, but it's a bit out of my way. A long detour on my way home from work in the seaport, perhaps. I did like Comicopia the couple times I'd been there.

Three series.... I think I can afford to get into three series. My first foray into monthly comics. Just need to find a comic store, though. Turns out, not a one in East Boston.

A proper Dragonlance would get my money so fast. I think it's not ever going to happen though, and they'll use that terrible animated movie as a "See, nobody wants to buy it!"

So it's a planet to star missing link, huh? Sure, I believe you found it. It's right next to your bigfoot corpse, right?

The rare instance where we should call for more excuses for runaways.

Okay, that 'smart ass' was rude of me. Really, you're right, and that's a much better way of looking at it, already being a part of this cosmic beauty. But imagine being up, in the void, able to see all those colors. (Those Colors Out Of Space, you could say). I know that's not actually feasible because of our limited

Smart ass :P

That's part of the allure, though, isn't it? Like a rose, a beautiful item you wish to hold, but knowing it has it's thorns.

Space is beautiful. I so wish we could be out there and see it like this.
