I've read in a couple of places that it's a good design — that it's easier for steel beams to crumple than to stretch, so as long as you've got them well anchored, having them on the outside makes for a very secure wall vs. mindless hordes.

I picked up and enjoyed the second collection of Ms. Marvel. I'm not reading much stuff regularly these days — mostly just that and Hawkeye and Saga and Jaime (but not Gilbert) Hernandez. Oh,and Bad Machinery.
