all I think about is how to make you think of me

I know, right?

Handsome Family's official site confirms it's "creosote."

Well, okay. Now let's make a list of movies with a female hero and see how many of them pass the Reverse Bechdel. Does Lucy? Does Wild? Laggies?

Pharaoh was the dog in season 1. Isis shows up in season 2. They never actually mention it on-screen, but apparently this is the case.

It's weird — I didn't like Pulido's art at all when he filled in on Hawkeye, but I like it just fine in She-Hulk.

Aces, I'll add The Summer Book to my list right now.

I knew about Too-Ticky but I've haven't read any of Jansson's adult books.

Although it's not a good starting place, "Moominvalley in November" is one of my very favorites. It's just so achingly melancholy.

THANKS OLLANTA

A — another, B — bear, C — contest. Another Bear Contest.

When I was a kid I had a 45 single with “Mobity Mosely’s Months” on it (and "Days of the Week" on the "A" side). I loved “Mobity Mosely’s Months.” It's so good!

Douglas is the bad guy? …How'd that happen?

The picture up top is incomplete, before they added the black lines (including hair). The finished version is way more uncanny.

Or "of MARRS," if they really want to pump up the volume.

Mike Vago might have a point when he says "Yo La Tengo are still creatively vital—two of my three favorite albums
came out past the band’s 20-year mark, and I defy anyone to say that
about any other artist."

I thought Noah was lugubrious and goofy — but I didn't like The Fountain much either for some of the same reasons, so if you did like it you can ignore me accordingly.

Two Karloses, one voice: hoo-ray for John Allison! I picked up the print versions of Bad Machinery and they're very nice and recommended (although too deep for my bookshelf).

Star Lord, man. Legendary outlaw?
