No, the real point of the F-35 was to fill Lockheed’s coffers. That mission has long since been accomplished.

A yone with an actual clue about the history, development, the lies, incompetence and corruption that is the F-35 would mop the floor with you in a debate format. Some pilots just fly the aircraft on approach as if they are the fly by wire servos. Watch a modern fighter land and you’ll see the very coarse control movements made by the computer to comply with the pilot’s requests. It all comes out OK in the end, it just looks like it shouldn’t. I personally don’t care for this…

Once you get a ‘feel’ for a particular plane, you can feel the moves it is making and respond with the right control input. That is one of the reasons I find PC flying sims so tough. There is no 'feel' to those things.
