If it has the “4x4 OFF ROAD” on the bed by the rear tailight, it has the E-Locker as its part of that package. Also, if you search inventory using the RAM site, you can look at a digital version of the window sticker and it will be on there if it has it as a stand along option.

It has always been my understanding that that whole shot of him missing the turn and backing up was an out-take that made it into the movie. Meaning, he was supposed to make the turn, but didn’t and he just kept working the scene and that was the result.  They used it in the final product.
