I don’t think there is any doubt the Council is Hydra. Here is a pic from another site that proves it. The one on the Left is from AoS (308?) and the one on the Right is an upside-down sign from Chadwick’s club in AC 202.

Absolutely. Also, I believe they expanded the season from 8 to 10 eps this year which should help.
I completely agree. I really thought they beat the whole “Peggy is as good as the boys” thing into the ground (and I’m female myself...so nobody call me a male chauvinist). I didn’t think it got good until Iron Curtain (ep 5). Howard Stark and Jarvis were the highlights for me, especially Howard. And it completely…
I don’t know...an Inhuman who retains the memories (maybe skills, too?) of its hosts. Not exactly Taskmaster, but it may open the door.
I was so mad at Simmons. She didn't even check to see if Fitz was ok. She was only looking for Hogface :{
I like your first point. Remember last week how Thomas said that after the Well Ward was obsessed with trying to make himself seem like a hero...
The Evacuation Pod was used in the first episode this season and is programmed to home onto Zephyr One. So it wasn't suddenly controllable. It always was.
I think they probably thought everyone back on Maveth was dead and just blowing up the castle was enough. With our viewer-omniscience we see how short sighted that was, but Coulson killed Ward with his bare hand and Fitz just watched ItWill burn up. They really had no reason to think anything would follow them out.…
I was wondering why she didn’t lock him back up, too. I guess she just wanted to believe that he was still more Andrew than Lash (remember how they bonded after he was attacked by Strucker).
So ready for some light-hearted Howard Stark shenanigans!
I just hope all of the StandWithWard people will finally drop it now.
That is toooo funny!
The issue was that the portal opens in a fixed location in space, but on Maveth it appears to move due to the rotation of the planet. I think no one until Simmons was able to calculate where the portal would open next, which was why Fitz had to carry his tablet with him to find the location of the next opening.
Excellent point. I completely forgot that line from Simmons.
I think that was probably just trauma.
They probably won't address it at all, except maybe indirectly by showing IT enter someone else, demonstrating how fast IT can move.
All I can think of is that Mack/Daisy/Coulson/Fitz booked it out of the chamber to the evacuation pod, leaving the portal open. Fitz could have yelled to Mack/Daisy that Ward and IT were both dead as soon as he was through, so they may have seen no need to try to shut down the portal. This would have given ItWard a…
But Ward is dead. He BETTER be dead.
And you have to imagine that anybody (human or Inhuman) will have gone pretty insane after a couple thousand years basically alone on a planet with no sun.
IT was going to crush Fitz’s head with a rock (why Coulson shot IT giving Ward the opportunity to knock Coulson off the ridge and start the Coulson/Ward fight). A crushed head seems like a pretty damaged body.
