Good detective work Evan—seems like it could work. On another note, if this crap ends up in anyway influencing the MCU I’m turning in my Marvel True Believer card.
Exactly my point. This is why I don't care if they retcon it, it's just plain a kick to the nuts of the corpses of Simon and Kirby. http://panels.net/2016/05/26/on-…
Also it totally looks like the Kaled insignia from “Genesis of the Daleks.”
I don’t get the logic of people saying “if you care about this you don’t read comics.”
No one who is angry thinks it will last forever. A lot of the anger is cause it is just a publicity stunt. And there is a differnce between making him a mythical monster and making him a Nazi. Especially given his origins.
Oh yes, oh yes. I noticed that and definitely had a reaction to it. I’d be willing to bet he specifically sought her out to infest. It’s been made clear that Hive is perfectly willing to take up the petty agendas of its hosts, and that seems to clearly include Ward’s creepy as heck infatuation with “Skye”.
It was also the first time I actually liked Lincoln. Up until the scene with Daisy trying to convice him to leave, I really didn’t like the character. (He wasn’t poorly written or badly acted; I just didn’t like him.)
It will be interesting to see what happens to Daisy/Skye from here on. I’m not saying I want her killed off, but I’d be impressed with the show if she bought the farm.
As I said to Cool_Breeze, Fitz and Simmons are way too happy. Like WAAAAAYYYYYYY too happy. Joss Whedon is involved. If one of them simply dies, they will be getting off easy.
Man do I miss Tripp...
This part too:
Underrated moment: the horrible elevator music while Coulson was waiting for Malick to come on the line.
Pescado de Jesus
Too true.
I should be happy that Ward’s dead, but they had to bring something worse back.
Yeah, I am not thrilled with the love interest epidemic. Was so pleasantly relieved when the first season eschewed Skye/Ward for a May/Ward hookup that didn’t pretend to be deep...
I don’t believe for a moment that Coulson didn’t know exactly what he was doing when he contacted Malick.
It only works, though, if the movies occasionally deign to acknowledge that rich background.
I like how the Marvel TV shows have been providing a richness to the MCU that the movies don’t have time to.
