Aware of Antigone but not so with other two.
Aware of Antigone but not so with other two.
Wonder who will get out of this alive? …and 'do you want me to roll you a joint'.
The whole series has put me in mind of LA Confidential.
The main characters are as grim and grimy as industrial LA. They are all broken……and the shoot out was way too long. I would think that there would be hell to pay for all those dead bodies, just to get one guy!
I realize he has great range but he'll always be Walter.
All right! This alone has me locked in for next season. The past season was beginning to slip somewhat.
She was certainly upset and angry enough to have done it and she was in London too. but, nah.
It's taking me some time to warm to this. I really want to like this and will continue to watch.
Peggy and Jarvis have great chemistry together.
At least some of the younger generation, Merton's boys being the exception.
I have often wondered the same thing regarding a ladies maid, why for Mary but not for Edith???….Edith's colors have been drab and dreary for this past season, semi mourning colors and dowdy clothes. Once back at the manor house, her colors popped and more stylish dressing.
Unfortunately, I have to agree.
In the Sneak Previews before the beginning of the season, there definitely is a wedding, but of course, we won't know who is actually getting married until it happens, but Isobel and Merton are a safe bet.
Agreed, Edith has a chance at a life outside of Downton where she can be herself and can claim some success in her endeavors. She has some writing talent, let her get on with it.
I was very pained for Mrs. Drewe, it was a terrific scene and well played, but Mr. Drewe had to know that someday Edith would claim Marigold. Had Drewe and Edith let Mrs. Drewe in on the secret, it might have played out differently. Mrs. Drewe's constantly trying to push Edith away helped to create the situation.…
No, I don't think Bates would blab to anyone about it. he's very good at keeping secrets.
It might have been very simply resolved by reminding Mr. Bates about the night she was taking something very personal of Mary's home for safekeeping. (Connect the dots, sir….but too simple for a soap opera) and how on earth does her loyalty to Mary trump that owed to her husband.
That's what I assumed but then again, ya never know.
Nor should she be.Not the best idea coming from Violet and Rosamund and from the preview of next weeks episode who is the little girl Robert is holding up saying look at Aunt Mary?
A humble thank you from me.
