I played contact sports with boys from age 11 to 16. He 100% did not want to lose to a girl. He’s also a budding misogynist. It’s a broad, disgusting tapestry.

Definitely not Gretchen. That’s a Crystal, Darlene, or Misty.

If you watch her Red Table talk with Will, you hear two people that really love each other, but have struggled in their marriage. To me, it seems like they are staying together because they want to persevere, not because of the assets.

Just a reminder; Peter Benchley, the author of Jaws, felt so bad about the fact that his book (but mainly the movie) played such a large role in the subsequent animus towards sharks and the subsequent hunting/killing of them, that he devoted the rest of his life in philanthropic efforts to save them

I apologize. The “Kim wins,” part distracted me into thinking yours was a comment of admiration. I see it was not. Also, I don’t think of that kind of self-promotion as a “talent” but rather a kind of personality flaw it pains me to see rewarded.

I feel like if the men who were asked to move to coach were on a free upgrade/didn’t pay for their tickets, the Alaska Airlines PR person would have clarified that (or the person that asked them to move would have mentioned that). Seeing as this was never brought up, it makes me doubt that they were on an upgrade.

I think it’s entirely believable that there was a legitimate double-booking for the same seat, and the airline awarded it to the person with the earlier timestamp on their purchase order.

Who paid to sit in first class and who got a free upgrade.

Fucking exactly! It’s all right there in front of our faces. For example change around the letters of ‘DEEP STATE’ a little bit and what do you find? Oh, interesting, you get several percent of the letters of ASTROS FAN,’ just do the math. I’m just ASKING QUESTIONS here don’t make this about me.

They truly saved our lives at a time when addiction ruled our every moment.

Also,

He probably enjoys being called that tbh

I love this

Her looking at Serena after she lost was so pure! I felt the love there! It warmed my cold dead heart.

I love that movie.

So sweet that Justin saved himself for marriage.

I’m the generation below her — I think I was 9 or 10 when Three’s Company premiered. We all have a choice on what we do with the past, you know? You can never examine the things you grew up with or enjoyed as a young adult, and lament that people now have a problem with them, or you can reassess and let some stuff go.

I think There’s a very dark backstory to a lot of these off the wall defenses of bizarre behavior.

You know you are old when you think harassment is flirting.

Oh, ew. So she’s used to writing off things that would creep a lot of people out. Got it.
