This is a major violation of the WARN Act, which you may recall as the thing that started the ball rolling on the complete destruction of Telltale Games. And a lawsuit has already been filed. I’m staying on Twitter to look it in the eye as it dies.

The story about the building super is just perfect - the contrast between the mild mannered guy in “reality” and the broad caricature with the “big kahuna joint” in the story is an easy joke, but it’s perfect. Also the ex girlfriend’s line about “you really like to attribute everything to me being Jewish - watch it.”…
This wasn’t the greatest sketch in SNL history but I get that they were trying to capture the sadness of the moment while also paying homage to Leonard Cohen, who had died that week. This was not a point as low as having for host Paris Hilton, Donald Trump or Elon Musk.
So Dave Chappelle has the same maturity level as a 3-year-old. Glad we cleared that up.
I’m just going to come out and say it:
I really don’t understand this marketing campaign for The Flash.
Musk isn’t American-born. So the question of him becoming president largely rests on the degree to which the Supreme Court is able to gut the Constitution in the next 20 years.
The phrase “Michael Shannon doing improv” instantly made me think of the Liam Neeson improv bit with Rickey Gervais.
He’s British. Being called a cunt for showing up massively late is the least insulting way she could have berated him.
I’m hoping that the movie has the characters caught in a Christmas time loop on basic cable.
If I had to handle a weapon, prop or not, that could discharge something, I’d probably be motivated to take a class and learn how the fuckers work and how to handle them safely. You know, for safety. Maybe I’m just a selfish prick for not wanting it on my conscience that I shot a woman and she died, on purpose or not.
Safety rules require that if an actor does open the gun, it has to go back to the armorer. No one on set wants a non-expert ‘checking’ the paid expert’s job.
Baldwin might be partially responsible for the unsafe set as a whole, but he is not fucking responsible for not checking up on the armorer. That was the AD’s job…
mmm, the actor never uses the camera so why would they check it; and I’m pretty sure a malfunctioning camera never discharged a lead projectile hard enough to kill someone.
“farm upstate” - genuinely thought this was going to be an obit for the horse
He has sweaty, desperate-to-please theater kid energy. Not only does he want to entertain you but he wants you to be painfully aware of how much effort he puts into entertaining you. Same reason Travis is the least bearable of the McElroy Brothers.
There, fixed it.
The wrong guy got on that helicopter back in 1990
I never took “I was a child” to mean that she was literally a child, but just that Marion was a college-age teenager (say, 18 or 19), and he was 8 or 10 years older. So she still felt like a kid in comparison to him, the older man.
I’ve made multiple comments about this!
Has Patriot showed up in any of these lists? If not, will it ever? I just want it to show up so maybe more people can stumble upon the delightful show. Then we can finally shut up and stay on topic . . . maybe.
This week’s AVQ&A comes from reader Kate L.:
