Charles Bradley’s cover of “Changes”. That song was always a weird outlier in Sabbath’s catalogue, and after hearing Bradley’s version it’s clear the the Muse sent it to the wrong musicians in the wrong decade. It’s his song.

Re-reading Dylan Farrow’s 2014 editorial, it looks like there were rumors/stories of him abusing her in 1993, but that part seems to have gotten very quickly dismissed as unreliable at best. So nothing was done. Fucking insane that it was so inconsequential in comparison to the juicier “Woody Allen married his adopted

Yeah, I think the two things are getting conflated in the general public’s memory. I don’t think I knew about the Dylan Farrow stuff until a few years ago.

Actually, that’s a good point. I think the only thing I knew about him from the 90s was the Soon-Yi stuff. The straight up sexual assault allegations were news to me.

I remember the allegations well, but I grew up in NY in the 80s and 90s. Was it plastered all over national news the way it was in NY? I know a lot of people who were pretty unaware of the Woody Allen stuff until it resurfaced. It managed to get swept under the rug as exaggerated tabloid reporting.

Oh, totally. Neither of their behaviors are acceptable. They should have both been shit-canned.

Yeah, not showing up for the job (or, rather, only showing up for the parts you deem absolutely necessary) is disrespectful to everyone else involved. Fuck that nonsense. You aren’t only paid for when the cameras are rolling and you happen to be in frame. Dick.

Oh, that’s great news! It’s about time they gave Rip Torn his only show.

Half bison, half turkey, and a 1/4 of cooked and diced bacon make the base for my very decent meatloaf. Serve with green beans blanched and pan-fried, and tossed with balsamic.

It was more than him being slower, though. Yes, he was a mutant, and you can use that to minimize the pain the character was going through, but for his version of existence, he was experiencing aging and decrepitude. The adamantium was slowly killing him, and he was spending his days caring for an aging and dying

It was a (thinly veiled) parody of Jack Lemon in Glengarry Glenross.

Logan, in particular, was about facing mortality and reckoning with a life’s work and purpose. I don’t know what could be more human than that.

Nikka is amazing.

If they hadn’t made it a separate charge, I would have definitely kept the disc option. There are so many films I can’t get on Netflix and end up paying to rent on Amazon.

He chewed more scenery than oreos in that role.

So he made money as a businessman, not as an actor. What...why is this collected in a list somewhere, other than needing an excuse to publish his photo?

Actually, having served on a grand jury, an accusation of a crime (particularly assault) is more often than not an indication that something happen. It is statistically very rare for victims to fabricate stories of abuse.

Yes, the worst part was that I drank til I was seeing double and then had to watch *two* episodes of that dreck.

The drinking started shortly after the opening credits rolled.
