  • Blow. Sometimes I'm doing blow.

I have a degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse and worked in a newsroom for a couple of years. I'm offended as a former journalist who doesn't like to see a bullshit story like this taken seriously as news. There is no way on earth that any competent editor/news director would ever greenlight this story

You can have a "biased" article that is entirely accurate. It just doesn't give an opposing viewpoint at all. It also has a sensationalist title that is based entirely on circumstantial evidence. That is the problem people have with it.

No, journalistic integrity would be a) getting both sides of the story (nowhere did she indicate that she tried to talk to Nike or Salazar for this story), b) not using phrases like "So Salazar and an entourage of Nike henchmen...", which makes him sound like a Batman villain and c) not publishing a story when you

If I were a Cressida, I might go out of my way to avoid dating the younger brothers of popular royalty. Based on Shakespeare and Chaucer, the likeliest outcome of that scenario would be dying from leprosy as a Greek captive.

Idris Elba as Shere Khan??

"he had his left hand on her right groin and his right hand second and third fingers in her mouth," he said.

The article should have mentioned the Cap's 2 dirty hits against the flyers this season. In one, Brayden Schenn was injured and Wilson was ejected. In another Orlov was given a suspension. That is why the Flyers were fired up and admittedly "fought dirty". I'm not sure why the Flyers ganged up on Erskine and not

And don't forget about the snowballs at Santa.... Oh wait. I thought I was being original by bringing up some measly thing at our stadium forty years ago as opposed to sf and Oakland where gang wars and beating people to death is trending

So the two Caps that teamed up on Schenn to begin the fight was clean though?

Now playing

I get it. This headline gets page views cause "Flyers", "Dirty", and "Brawl". But let's take a step back and see what the Caps have done.

The important thing we need to remember is that this is a great opportunity to bring up snowballs at Santa Claus and how one time you went to Philadelphia and something bad happened.

First thought

Oh come on. If we start to treat gay people well, what is next? Pretty soon we'll be treating everyone well, and what kind of world will that be?

Even hockey refs are tougher than baseball players

I'm going to do my best explaining this from someone who has been in hockey fights, played high level and coached high level (i wrote this awhile ago on a different site but same jist, no attacks directly at you):

It's not about whether you're a real fan, it's about having played at a high enough level that fighting was legal. It's a very small subset of us. When you go out on the ice knowing you could get the shit kicked out of you, it takes a little edge off of your game. There's a documentary about playing the Flyers in

"I don't really care about hockey, but I think it's ridiculous that they don't take this out of the game!"

She has a point. That's exactly how other entertainment industries works. The Seahawks all retired when they won the Super Bowl, Beyoncé will never make another album since she broke all those records, and tom hanks hasn't been in a movie since "Big."
