This is a significant false equivalency. “Suitor” and “stalker” don’t have the same connotations as racial slurs, and are objectively used in common parlance without offence.

I’m genuinely sorry for what you went through. But I don’t think that a lighthearted and objectively harmless quip (as is used in this column’s headline) is grounds for violence. It’s ok to laugh every once in a while. Healthy, even.

I’m sorry that this column doesn’t fit into your tidy little box, I guess?

The column is literally called “Dirt Bag.”

I fail to see how I’m being hypocritical? And at the end of the day, you’re the one getting internet-angry about (inequity? disrespectfulness? I don’t even know...) in a column called “Dirt Bag,” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So you’re saying that either everything should be snarky, or nothing should be? Also, you’re projecting.

I mean, there’s a whole lot of better proof that male entitlement exists, but ok.

I like you. ❤️

If you are coming to “Dirt Bag” for hard-hitting, deeply serious celebrity gossip, I have really bad news for you.

I appreciate this comment. 👍

If you can’t handle a bit of snark and adult humor, perhaps you are getting your news from the wrong website?

I mean, that’s what I got from it.

Oh please. Get a grip.

Why do these stalkers pick the least interesting celebrities?

Cookie Butter is way too low on this list.

Soooo...has Billy Haisley given up on un-greying people because 99% of the comments are just people hurling abuse at him? Or is he just lazy...

🤔

“About 5 Audis and a VW?” How can you not remember how many you’ve had...? 🤔

This is absolutely dreadful.

I feel like I read the exact same article about Brad Pitt and Nery Oxman every single day.
