the Thor films are truly "average" they aren't horrible, but I just can't muster up much emotion for them at all. I blame it on the truly horrendous 'space god' atmosphere they bought into since I stopped reading comics in the 90's. I remember when Thor and Odin actually acted like damn viking norse gods *just ones

I never read the comics, but I never bought the argument there on a philosophical level. Iron Man vs CA just never vibed. Here though, thanks to the MCU I've actually seen a Tony Stark arc that makes me believe he'd turn on CA. Really beginning with IM3, we've seen him become darker and much less hopeful. He's begun

will we? It seems like you are forgetting all the "setup" we didn't do with other characters who are now mainstays. Sometimes things flow naturally. I think AoU was… an issue of grand ideas, small goal, massive requirements. Like the check box that Whedon had to mark was too much. Ended up with a fun-average movie.

This is the first 'serious' sci-fi that has caught my eye since BSG lost it half-way through. I really liked the appearance, it was beautiful work. I'm confused as all hell about a lot of things, but I'm in. *Note, I never really got into these books, I picked the first one up but for whatever reason I didn't continue

Until recently the Star Wars ads were managable and actually a fairly good Ad release. It is the recent TV spots that… are awful.

I think the news articles on new Marvel Netflix actors should be the same from now on. "Another incredibly talented actor is working with Netflix on Marvel projects, these fantastic actors will be sure to blow you away. (Or get blown away if they are elderly african americans about to retire from their demanding jobs)"

Hannibal was great for it's first two seasons, it's logic was follow internally. The last season gets under-criticized due to pity banging.

I think what we find is that both characters are great, and they had great chemistry in the beginning, but now that they are together a lot of that 'forbidden' tension is gone, the charm is gone for a lot of us. This is made more evident by the lack of focus on them actually being together, our window into their lives

No it doesn't…. my sister works in a hospital in chicago in the mother-baby unit, she's a nurse. They deal with low-income families, and some mid-income (around where a cop would fall into) and for complicated pregnancies they definitely do push for surgical options to speed the delivery. They do this in almost EVERY

See, now this is a well reasoned argument about what Unbreakable really is. I applaud you sir for looking at the film for what it is, and not what some wish it to be upon reflection! I too felt the same. I felt that the dialogue was cringeworthy, that and the lack of emotional exploration create a dull experience that

Okay. My picture notwithstanding, I'm of Australian origin and have grown up all around the world. I think you'll find audiences everywhere are equally stupid and ignorant, but it's okay for you to be so naive, or to lump me in as one of "that bunch" because that's an easy arrogant response to someone who doesn't like

Oh pleasse please please let me watch 26 episodes of a netflix marvel series in a row… that i haven't seen before. DD was like experiencing an adrenaline drug constantly pumping into me. JJ was like experiencing a bad trip. Just envisioning 26 episodes of Cage/Fist or one of them… I think I'd explode.

I shouldn't have to answer your question if you've watched everything until now. We've seen…(at this stage) five different Simpsons. Mind controlled Simpson, Post-mind control simpson, Post-Trish Simpson, Post-dead buddy simpson, Initial Pill Simpson.

This is a joke, this is not the superhero movie we need now. M. Sham was a Sham, his movies were overblown snorefests. Was Willis doing a good job of portraying his constant role? Sure. Did we have another interesting Sam L Jackson performance? Yup. What didn't we get? Any thing with actual depth. You can't just call

I would have thought that was the problem watching shows about obsessive stalkers. How would JJ get some down time with that guy out there?

So glad they killed Kilgrave, I think it would have weakened the whole season if he had lived, not to mention JJ. After Kingpin and Tennant… well let's just say I'm not a netflix-flag-waving fanboy of epic proportions, but I feel like I should be.

Please. You guys might have seen it as trying to act so mature because you are really good at acting immature.

We don't see her land do we? they always cut away. She just mentions she falls lol.

welcome to dealing with ANYONE who relies on faith and faith alone. I've got a lot of respect for those who realize that faith does not have to replace personal responsibility and pragmatism.

BBC shows are… finicky. Really good ones last one season, awful ones get renewed for years… it's only the ones that garner media praise and attention (within BRITAIN) that get renewed based on popularity. BBC is an interesting part of the world.
