He and his wife? They are as done as he and Brida. Uhtred has yet to feel real love. Lust, sure… but that's easy.

not necessarily paganism but pragmatism. The difference is key. Beocca believes faith alone is enough to prevail… when we've been shown that's not true.
It's kind of obvious. There are THREE potential answers I see, and I'm okay with it not being answered because… you know life, sometimes things aren't answered.
He's clearly traumatized and the pills have messed with him in the past. Seeing his buddies killed, and being mind-controlled by Kilgrave caused him to say screw the consequences and accept the pills, which whatever damage they did before… was magnified ten-fold by his recent experiences. He just lost it.
She's the most human of the bunch that I see, most common anyways. Selfish.
Only so much a girl can do when a mind controlling psychopathic perverted stalker has her in his sights!
she is who I would be… if I were her and she were me!
I didn't take issue, she has super strong muscles, doesn't mean her skin is super strong. We don't know exactly what the accident did, and it's not natural (Mutant) or evolved science (Inhumans) so… well within boundaries.
yeah, compared to smaug the battle is merely the final hiccup.
Just finished the series, I can say it's a blast. A different show from Daredevil, but has the same production values and definitely feels similar in a lot of the more grounded elements. This benefits heavily from the scene setting and it feels just like a detective novel. The framing of the shots is great, and comes…
are you guys joking? it's like you don't understand that that this show is film noir, or what that entails.
god damn it. I knew I wasn't smart enough to hang out at the AV club.
How do I become a reviewer so that way I can throw up a Scorpion review? That show started off rather blandly but I think it's actually fantastic now.
Well, Rebel Assault was a clunky beast that got by on the universe and some elements that worked well (space combat) and some that didn't for a long time (land combat). I've often wished for a Dark Forces/ X-Wing/Tie Fighter/X-Wing Alliance/RTS crossover.
I'm confused I thought these weren't "omg awesome moments" but "what made you feel like you were playing in the film's universe" there are GREAT star wars moments for decades, yet I feel that only a few have really grasped the feel of the films.
You guys played the poor mans version of Star Wars space battles. Nothing before or since approaches X-Wing, Tie Fighter, or X-Wing Alliance (XvT was an admirable effort but failed)
Games that recreate the feel of Star Wars? I'm very disappointed with most of you! (all of you really). Dark Forces 1 brings back the feel of all the blaster confrontations in the entire OT. Dark Forces 2 definitely gives you a sense of that Jedi in training. X-wing, Tie Fighter, X-Wing Alliance all did FANTASTIC jobs…
First off, what Lucas said isn't a lie, it's incorrect. He fully intended to never make another Star Wars. That's why he sold it off. Secondly… This film was awful. The CGI was so obvious and detracted from a lot of the battles. I compare the CGI in that film to say the mere moments of transports in Band of Brothers…
haha, I turned away… because that scene was sending me mixed signals… One thing this show has going for it is highly attractive female characters. Interesting that for a show so focused on female 'equality' that they don't even begin to dip into the water beyond that. (Some could say the "lady-beast" is an example…
I accepted that as her respecting Kara's decision to call them what she did.
