That is definitely a valid point, but it is worth noting that modern Kevlar bullet proof vests (ceramic would be more effective) will not stop knives or arrows, so Ewok weapons would be effective. So it’s possible that the stormtrooper armor has issues with that as well, I mean, it barley blocks blaster shots as it is.
