When Sony released the Xperia Z2 and Z3 phones it included an official "Remote Play" app to stream PS4 games. After doing some tinkering, some modders found a way to get that same app to work with almost every other Android device. I picked up an Nvidia Shield as soon as I found out about it and it works surprisingly

Some people are bagging on the thumbstick, but I dunno… I haven't used this thing, but it actually looks kind of great to me? I guess we'll see when it finally comes out, which Valve says will be this November.

Not that one. That's the first Nvidia Shield, a portable Android gaming device released in 2013. It's a fun toy to play with, and its (increasingly common) ability to stream games from a PC is handy, but it's not the most practical machine.

So it's 9-player SpeedRunners?

Yes it was very bad. Way way too long, bad timing, lame jokes, awkward moments between host and guests. Sounds like pretty much EVERY tech conference I've ever seen.

Having never done it before, I still cannot fathom the possibility that streaming a game wouldn't be laggy. I can't even deal with a 2ms sound delay when I watch a movie. I couldn't imagine controller delay.

So $300-$400 for a gaming PC with "higher performance" than consoles? I don't buy it, but I'm willing to be proven wrong.

It probably has something to do with the desire to make the movie a unique product from the original. With cosplay, the intent is usually to replicate an existing piece.

You know, I always find it strange how cosplayers can look spot on to the minute details, but when big budget movie adaptions try to do the same, they almost always fuck up in some way.

I tried enjoying Trine 2, but was really surprised how phoned-in the writing is. The narrator, visuals and music all clicked with me, but quality of the story seemed so generic and without personalty that I lasted about an hour.

All this kid needed was 1,200 to get it done?

Granted, he also claimed that he's been trying to avoid speaking or appearing publicly for the past year, and the results have been... questionable, especially in light of the fact that he's spread similar sentiments around to publications like Rock Paper Shotgun and The Guardian while continuing to do more
